Dear friends and guests,
as a family business, we have made a strong promise that your health and safety is our utmost concern. We have always been aware of this great responsibility, including for our teams and partners, and we live up to it day after day.
Now, this responsibility takes on a special, additional meaning for us. Therefore we would like to inform you personally about what we do at Lindner Hotels & Resorts and me and all hotels to support you and your travel plans in the best possible way.
While the situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) is developing rapidly and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) last Wednesday, we are taking all measures to ensure your travel safety and also to provide you with maximum booking flexibility.
As a matter of principle, the safety of our guests and our team members is our highest priority at all times and we are very proud to have always maintained and developed the highest standards of housekeeping, cleaning and hygiene. In response to the corona virus, we have taken further actions, developed in coooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local health authorities, to make our cleaning and hygiene standards even stricter:
Our hotel teams consistently implement all instructions on prevention, hygiene and protection measures. We base this on the recommendations of the international health authorities WHO and CDC and go even further if necessary. Each of our hotels is also in permanent contact with the responsible local (health) authorities and will take additional measures immediately if necessary.
These include current measures:
- increasing the cleaning cycles of our public areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public toilets, etc.)
- the use of hospital-grade cleaning and disinfection agent
- the extended supply of antibacterial hand disinfectants
- the adaptation of the food and beverage service to the current recommendations on extended food safety
- our response team, which supports our hotels around the clock. This enables us to act quickly and effectively at any time if a guest shows symptoms or is already infected.
Booking security and travel flexibility:
It is very important to us to offer you the best possible, flexible booking options in these uncertain times.
Therefore we have adapted our booking guidelines:
If you make a booking for Lindner Hotels & Resorts, you can (initially) cancel or rebook free of charge until 30.06.2020 until 18:00 on the day of arrival.
Our hearts and minds now go out to the people affected by this unprecedented event, and we appreciate and think of the health care workers, local authorities and governments around the world who are working at the forefront to contain this pandemic.
