If you would like to enjoy the cuisine of Prague outside our hotel:
An original Czech roast pork “Vepro-knedlo-zélo” with a tasty Czech beer is guaranteed to be available in the Old Town of Prague or at the historic Charles Bridge. You will find a large selection of inexpensive restaurants and vegetarian dishes on the Old Town Square. Here in Prague, tourists discover many restaurants with reasonable prices AND a high standard. Princely food and dining in Prague!
The most beautiful coffee house of Prague, the Café Louvre was opened already in 1902 and enchants you with its charm and culture. Located on the other side of the Vltava River, you should not miss this unique house. You will find a large selection of traditional Czech delicacies on the menu there, try a great Prague strudel with plums or apples, delicious!
The Strahov Monastery brewery tavern is located almost directly in front of our door. Here we recommend a freshly tapped Pilsner Urquell. This is typical Prague and a refreshing must for every Prague tourist. Good and simple European and Czech cuisine can also be enjoyed in the beer garden in Letná Park or in the Nebozizek Restaurant near the middle station of the cable car on the Petrin Hill.
The Petrin Hill is one of the top attractions of Prague. The restaurant is only 300 m away from our hotel, the observation tower in the park is only 0.6 km away. From here you have a breathtaking view over the whole city. The view of Prague Castle is also worthwhile - and afterwards a visit to this Prague sight. The castle is only 3.3 km away from our hotel. There you will also find one of the most interesting restaurants in Prague, the Restaurant U Labutí. In this restaurant of Prague not only the menu is worth a look, but also the design of the restaurant. The food including the obligatory beer takes place here in a very dignified atmosphere, which reminds of old Czech times.
Its modern and traditional gastronomy has already convinced every international tourist to come to Prague, so enjoy Prague! The choice of traditional as well as young innovative restaurants in and around the Old Town of Prague is enormous. Just as large is the choice of the most diverse directions. As a guest of the capital of the Czech Republic, you are not tortured to find a good and cheap restaurant - it is the sheer variety of offers that makes it so difficult to choose. And if you are already in the old town, you should also secure the most famous piece of meat in the Czech Republic - Prague ham. Here you should always pay attention to the price - if the price is very low, you should be careful when buying - this specialty is not cheap. You can also ask for buying tips in restaurants or other places - you are usually always right.
Of course, Praha also has a Hard Rock Café - like every metropolis in the world. But who wants to eat and drink typically Czech cheap food and drinks should rather go to the hip V Kolkovně or the Restaurace U Parlamentu. In the latter restaurant you should definitely try the dumplings and drink a good beer from the Czech Republic. The choice of local food in both restaurants is phenomenal. La dolce Vita in bohemian! But no matter in which restaurant you as a guest satisfy your hunger: Eating in Prague is always worth a trip.
