The People behind Niko's Place
Nikolay Draganov - the eponymous barkeeper
This charismatic Bulgarian has been standing behind the bar at the Lindner Golf Resort for as long as twelve years. What began as a summer job turned into a genuine passion: the bar, the guests and the entire hotel are at once the inspiration and the vital spirit for this sporty family man.
So there was no doubt about naming our new Wine Bar / Bar / Restaurant after Nikolay.
By the way, Niko doesn’t just know how to prepare cocktails and the like; local wines are also very dear to his heart. He recommends his favourite “Obac” and “Veran” wines, both of them red wines from the Binissalem region, as gladly as his house cocktail, the “PIMM’S CUP”.
Martin Schattenberg - master chef
Martin can do and likes everything: from the traditional Christmas goose or fine tapas right through to true works of art on the plate. Originally from Germany, Martin and his kitchen team have been spoiling guests at the Lindner Golf Resort for as long as nine years. Local ingredients, freshness and variety are his credo. What he doesn’t find in the restaurant’s own herb garden he sources from producers from the region. “Olive oil, sea salt, and vegetables from the island are the best ingredients for a dish that tastes of holidays,” is his motto.
He is a creative perfectionist who also doesn’t stop short of irresistible interpretations. And that’s lucky, because his eccentric yet traditional menu seduces and makes you happy! Here you will enjoy the culinary refinement of Mediterranean cuisine in elegant surroundings.
