Hiking in Mallorca

Hiking is hip, gets you fit and leaves lasting impressions. So, put on your shoes and your backpack and head for the Tramuntana mountains! The amazing peaks (a lot of them higher than 1.000 meters above sea level) along the west coast, just a short drive from the hotel, have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No wonder, because the views are spectacular, the nature unique and the hiking trails a dream almost all year round.

Our favourite tour

From Puerto de Andratx to Sant Elm

This fantastic, medium-difficulty route offers sea views almost throughout and leads from the fashionable marina to the quaint fishing village. You can return by taxi boat in summer or by public bus in winter.

The route starts in Puerto de Andratx behind the marina. A wide road leads up into the mountains. At the top, the view reaches as far as Ibiza. Now we follow the forest path further uphill, with the radio tower in the distance as our first destination. Once there, we descend over the pass to Sant Elm.

Distance: 8.5 kilometres
Time: approx. 3 hours
