Fabian Engels

Fabian Engels completed his training as a professional in today's Hilton Hotel Bonn and attended an on the job training to hotel economist. Fabian Engels can already look back to several management positions. Thus, for example, he worked as a project manager in the headquarter of the Scandic Hotels in Koblenz with responsibility for Germany, Austria, UK and Benelux. Through the acquisition of Scandic Hotels by Hilton International the re-branding and integration of several Hotels into Hilton was one of his tasks.
Then he moved into the pre-opening team of the Hilton Cologne. After its opening Fabian Engels was interim General Manager at the Hilton Dortmund before he returned from river “Ruhr” to the river Rhine. As Director of Operations at the Hilton Dusseldorf he was fully responsible for operational matters including the coordination of the extensive modernization of the hotel in the ongoing hotel operations.

With his move to the Lindner Hotels AG Fabian Engels had the position of Manager Operational Development Group, where he was responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of various projects and tasks in the field of hotel development.

In September 2008 Fabian Engels moved to Hamburg, where he developed the unique Lindner Park Hotel Hagenbeck as the second hotel in the city. Now he is General Manager in the Lindner Park-Hotel Hagenbeck.
