Lindner Hotels & Resorts. Not just better. Different.
We are a family-managed business and proudly stand behind the services provided in our hotels
with our name.
At Lindner Hotels AG’s, fulfilling the individual needs of a clearly defined target
group has been a proven recipe for success in the group’s corporate philosophy for long years.
Our hotels precisely distinguish themselves not only from each other but from those of the competition as
well through their individual character and extraordinary
architecture.
Enthusiastic, qualified staff and confident interaction based on partnership are just as important
to the Lindner hotels as the fulfilment of our guests’ needs
and the solution of individual, out of the ordinary problems. Each staff member
in the business is responsible for actively realizing of these objectives – seen as obligation - within his/her
sphere of influence.
We both require from and promote creativity in our staff in order to provide our guests with concepts that embody Lindner quality beyond expectations.
In this respect, everyone is allowed to make mistakes, too, because we consider mistakes a chance to learn and
improve the quality of Lindner.
Through believing in the capabilities of our staff and by guaranteeing their creative
and personal development, we achieve a strong commitment and creative work. Together, we
create values and reach new goals.
Transparency, comprehensive information and a regular exchange between the staff members in our hotels
support their further qualification.
We manage our business in an honest, reliable, and fair way and our relationship with business partners
is characterized by partnership, respect, and cooperation. It is with this foundation of integrity in partnerships that we achieve the permanent development of our Lindner Hotels.
Our basic values:
- We work with each other, not against each other.
- We provide offers that are more than perfect – they’re tailored to the individual.
- We aren’t just better, we’re different.
- We confer responsibility, not only tasks.
- We cultivate dialogue, not only the talk.
- We promote courage, not just trying to avoid mistakes.
- We want to support our employees, not just challenge them.
| Our culture through our employees' eyes |
Our philosophy and values are not meant to merely be viewed as showcase goals but to become an
integral part of the everyday working life as experienced by our employees. The question here: Are we
meeting our goals?
In order to understand the reality of our business as perceived
by the Linder staff, we participated in the employee survey "Ranking 2001 – The most attractive
employers in Germany". Within the scope of this survey carried out by Hewitt Associates in
cooperation with the Handelsblatt, our employees had the opportunity to rate Lindner as an employer according to a
variety of different aspects. These
are the most important results, which – we will readily admit inspire us with joy and pride:
- Lindner shows outstanding results in the rating of the quality of management, middle management,
and the possibilities of work-life-balance (compatibility of personal and work-related goals).
- Lindner shows above average results in the rating of working conditions, available working tools
and satisfaction with the direct superior.
Of course, the survey also helped us to identify aspects in need of improvement and which we are now
working on. But on the whole, the results clearly show that our employees highly appreciate the close personal
contact with the management and direct superiors, the frankness of communication and the uncomplicated
relationship with each other. Clearly – we are on the right track.
The following are some original quotations taken from the staff survey Ranking 2001:
*"Very good and accepted corporate hierarchy. Of course, it exists, but it is very "flat".(...) Without strong
pressure "from the top", everything functions pretty well."+
"In general, a very pleasant atmosphere; possibility of working very independently; reasonable freedom to make
one’s own decisions."
"Lindner Hotels AG is not so big that employees just feel like a number."
