The Alpen Med Spa Centre at the Lindner Alpentherme is headed by Dr. Peter Gündner. This well-known doctor was the director of Wiedemann Kliniken's wellness and medical centre in Gran Canaria for many years. He then built up two of his own Med Spa centres in the Palm Beach and Residencia hotels, and regularly took care of cruise passengers on the MS Vistamar. Dr. Peter Gündner also specialises in general medicine (FMH - Swiss Medical Association) and minor surgery, and above all in regenerative medicine, anti-ageing and wellness treatments. He has been practicing successfully at the Lindner Alpentherme for 3 years, and along with spa patients he primarily treats managers with burn-out syndrome and patients wishing to slow down the natural ageing process.

Prof. Dr. med. K. Hünten has been known to visitors, guests and patients of the Lindner Alpentherme for many years as a highly successful practitioner of acupuncture and moxibustion. He has been a visiting lecturer in classical Chinese acupuncture at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz for over 10 years, and gives lectures in his field at Chinese faculties on regular journeys through China.

In Dr. Santosh Vergis and his team of Indian therapists the Lindner Alpentherme have longstanding expertise in the area of ayurvedic medicine. The authentic treatments are enjoying increasing popularity as medical wellness becomes more widely known, although many people do not know how comprehensive this science ist, and how much knowledge a therapist needs to bring to a treatment. Apart from classic ayurvedic wellness treatments, Dr. Santosh Vergis also supervises 5-21-day ayurvedic cures, during which the food is prepared according to complementary ayurvedic principles by a specially engaged Indian cook. An experience without equal in Switzerland.

The medical wellness specialist team is supplemented by Ms Jian Ping. A qualified practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, she has built up a large circle of regular clients. Her specialist area is the prevention of insomnia, depression, digestive disorders, general dysfunction and lack of energy.

Dr. Peter Kälin is an experienced general practitioner and sports physician. He specialises in osteopathy, a method of healing that avoids the use of medication or other tools. Instead, the osteopath feels the body's movements, currents and tensions, releases blockages in its various systems and mobilises its powers of regeneration.
